Question for you guys:

Where is everyone going to get parts from? Are you guys going to the dealer or some website. I am trying to find good sites to start upgrading and customizing my car but am having a hard time finding places. Does BMW have a lock down on outside manufacturers? What I am looking for is trim pieces / dress up and performance. If anyone of you fine people could help with this would be appreciated.

Looking at your profile, you have a 545 so unless you have a few thousand dollars burning a hole in your pocket for maybe 20 more hp, I would recommend saving it for all the leaks that may be on the way.

For oem parts search on realoem.com and go to getbmwparts.com. There's also ecstuning.com for aftermarket parts.

Ya, I have read about the leaks. I actually kinda fell into the car. I was looking at 2010 Camero 2SS but was sold before I could drive to the dealer to look at it. This one was in the Dealer repair shop and had just got done with a complete cooling system replace and the so-called 7-8k coolant pipe repair. (Which they used the upgraded part from All German Auto) They guy couldn't pay the repair bill so he signed over the car to the dealer. Car only cost me 10k. So I have a few thousand to burn. But anyway thanks for all the input guys.
