I have driven my mates 535d with PS2's on it, my car with run flats and mine with Pirelli P Zero Neros and Rossos, and out of all those I think the Rossos are definitely the best.
I know they are quite soft though and don't expect them to last as long as say Continentals would, but I hate them with a passion so don't mind too much. I reckon if I swap the fronts and backs over at 8k miles I will get 16k miles out of them, which is fine for me.
To be honest I would pay out on new tyres every month to swap the tyres over if I had to rather than go back to the run flats.

Didn't you needforspeed have a Pirelli tramling problem?
I have heard so many bad stories about Pirelli tyres...
PS2's are great but not in UK - you got too much rain overthere
and the Michelin's cannot cope with wather at all.
That leaves you with Bridgestone RF 050's or ContiSportContact2's or 3's
but also the GY F1 could a option...
No RF's are needed!

I think we are all going to have a preference for tyres, but I am sure everyone agrees that going from RFT to non run flat tyres everything will seem amazing in comparison!
Just be aware that the first thing all the guys on the ///M forums do is get rid of the ContiSportContact 2's from their cars.

No tramlining at all on the P Zero's, funnily enough though I had had them one of my Audis and they tramlined like mad.
I would never buy Pirelli!

I'd recommended PS2's but there's talk of the 275's being discontinued but I got mine from mytyres.co.uk - give them a ring!

This is my point, the quality is like any Italian stuff...

I think different tyres suit different cars. Pirellis on a Porsche work really well, they also feel great on the BMW, they worked really well on my A3 but didn't like them at all on our A4 Cab, you just can't tell until you have tried them on the car, can start to get expensive though!

I am not so sure about the PS2 275's being discontinued. TireRack in the U.S. seems to have them again.

The front were pretty new and the back about half worn. I had planned to switch to pirellis all round when the back ones were changed, but then a puncture intervened and the only thing I could get quickly were conti sport contact 2's - so I now have these on the back.
I plan to change the pirellis to contis - so everything matches, but right now I can't entirely justify the expense.
I haven't experienced tramlining on any of these tyres, but in terms of grip, appearance and ride quality I strongly prefer the contis over the goodyears.
As I said the pirellis are fine also - they just don't look as good and don't match the back
.
