Tyre sizes on the Style 135 rims

My Ride: BMW E60 520d SE Saloon M47 2.0dTitanium Grey II, Grey−Dakota Leather, Visibility Package, Media Package, Through Load System, Lumbar support − fr seats, Automatic Air Conditioning−Advanced, High beam assistant, Hi−Fi Loudspeak
Model Year: 2006
What's the recommended or possible sizes of non run flat tyres I should be able to put on a Style 135 rim. They come with 245/40 R18 from the factory on all wheels. What's the staggered set-up that I can have with these rims.

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
245/40 R18 
If you want wider tyres buy a new set of rims.
I.e. Styling 166 or 172.
