has anyone got the tv function here but WITHOUT sat nav?

 

In the UK, you needed to spec pro-nav with tv when I ordered mine (late april)

As even a poverty spec uk car has a colour screen, I see no reason why the module cannot be added later and re-programmed by bmw.

In the E39 5-series, the TV module plugged into the nav computer so It needed nav to be able to upgrade.....used nav computers (e39) are always available on ebay but I think the E60 goes about it in a completely different way. My tv module is in the boot but clearly the nav computer is behind the dash.

so in summary, I don't think you will find a UK tv equipped car without nav but...............no doubt someone will prove me wrong.

why don't you want nav?...I thought it would be nice but have found it invaluable.

also i will have tv function on the sat nav, can i used that tv tuner to connect to the rear screens to watch tv there?

 

You would need to find the video output and override the vision in motion saftey feature. nav-tv.com are working on it right now apparently
