My Ride: 530i 2006 model w/ Nav
Had a post yesterday about my alarm....have an 06 530i and am taking it in to an indy on Monday. I need to be able to lock my car over the weekend without having the alarm activiated. Any way to do this? Alarm is going off for no reason despite a new factory BMW battery. Want to lock my car but don't want to wake my neighbors up in the middle of the night.

lock all doors before you exit. then open back drivers door while in car by reaching back. Unlock drivers door. After you exit lock drivers door manually from back door. Then lock back door manually.

Haha, I read this twice and I still have no clue what you are trying to say.
I think you're saying lock the rear doors last and manually?

I think he mean was disable the alarm sound i think, all you can disable is the Tilt sensor alarm and the Motion Sensor alarm in your car. There is no way u can disable the alarm sound lol, whats the point of that ?

While you're trying to sort out the electrics, try using the valet key (in your fob) to manually lock the car - that may allow security w/o arming the alarm. I think, pressing the lock button on the fob twice also locks the car, sets basic alarm functions, but deactivates motion sensors etc - give that a try if you're concerned about the false alarms disturbing your neighbors.

I had the same problem on a 2005 528i. Alarm was going off in the middle of the night for no reason. It was a bad hood sensor. Had that replaced and no more problems.
