i agree with socalM5mang. with the steptronic, as an enthusiast driver, you cant just keep it in D when youre looking for power (no offense to anyone). if youre looking for an M5 and willing to go for it, then by all means go for it. good luck.

I love Active steering on my car. I would never order a car without it. Over 40mph it is not noticeable. I drive a 6spd so an M5 comparison for me would be with a 6spd. I have driven an M5. The active side bolsters and the 400 to 500HP M button on the steering wheel had me dreaming for a couple nights.
For my daily drive the M5 would be wasted along with the additional $24K.
