First off I am going to make an appointment with BMW, but before I drop it off, I wanted to check if anyone else experienced what has happened to me the last two days.

After turning off my car at the gym yesterday morning, I went to push the Trunk Pop Button and nothing happened. Thought it was odd, but got out of car and popped trunk using key remote. During my lunch hour the Trunk Pop Button worked. Then when I got home from work I tried to pop the trunk with the Trunk Pop Button and the same thing happened. Once again this morning at the gym pushed button and no go.

Anyone have any ideas?

 

So, you have no problems using remote to open the trunk. If that's the case, I guess it could be the push button in the car. Just a guess.

 

Something seems to be messed up with my trunk release too (or I'm just doing it wrong). When I press the trunk release button on the key once, nothing happens. If I press it a second time, the alarm goes off. I can open it by either hitting the release inside the car or by unlocking all of the doors and then grabbing just over the license plate. Anyone know what's going on?
