Okay, so after installing my trunk finisher, it seems as if it made my trunk lid heavier. When on an incline slope my trunk will not stay all the way open; it will be open all the way, but once I let go from holding the trunk open it seems to lower down half way. Is anyone else experiencing this issue with your trunk finisher installed? Also, is there a way that I can get the trunk to hold more weight and keep it from doing this? For example tightening the a screw to make the joints hold up more weight or something like that?

Thanks!

The tension on my trunk lid is plenty robust and would be slowed in its upward journey by something weighing quite a lot... did something go out of adjustment on yours?

How so Nick? Would these be the tension controls?

if you take the side panels off you can see that springs can be adjusted by moving it one or up..

i asked my dealer to readjust my trunk and they did with no problem..
