I wish I got the Lumbar at minimum. Comfort seats would be the only regret so far.
I don't think the original poster means facelift by "new skin". He's probably talking about that M-like sport package exterior thing we've seen before. I don't think there's been too much info posted about its availability, etc.. yet.

It was completly redesigned in 2004, there's no way BMW is going to give it a facelift in 2005, espically considering this design seems to be more accepted than the 7. I'd expect to see a facelift in 2007 or 2008, possibly longer.
The m-sport package will probably arrive in a couple of years.
In terms of drastically changing the rear tails and whatnot, this surely is not going to happen. Just look at the official pics of the M5 which will arrive as MY2005-2006.
