Nice pics. The NC mountains are always a great drive. The falls were along route 64, another great drive, except for the traffic during leaf season.
The key to the TOD is to hit it early in the morning on a week day. We just did and caught no traffic on 2 of the 3 runs.

Wow, you know your water falls! Yep you're right, on 64 just out of Highlands. We hit the drive early morning, so there was no traffic at all. In the afternoon on the way back to Highlands was a different story though.
