Sorry, Germans now pull in front of you into the left lane, no matter how fast you are going just like Ameicans. The only difference is that they do signal first, and the get over when the can, unless it is a 90 year old guy or 30 year old woman on a cell phone.

They do drive better in Germany than in the USA in general.

Once again we observed the US driving customs of (1) I have the right to drive in the left lane no matter how fast I am going and no matter how much I clog traffic; (2) I can move in front of you with no signal, no matter how fast you are going, and no matter when I decide to change lanes as long as I am using cruise control; and (3) no matter what, I get to practice driving next to trucks in the left lane for miles and mile and miles. "Oh I can see for miles and miles and miles."
...
This is worldwide. Amazing how it is so similar in almost every country! Germany and Sweden are the countries with the best behaviour! (i have driven in 19 countries in Europe and in US and Brasil)
Italians and French are the worst ones.
"Arc de Triomphe de l'Etoile" in Paris is the top. Just look at this

It is like this at least since i was there 20 years ago!!! (i am really getting old... )

Go to Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Siagon), Vietnam, and you don't know what horror is until you drive there. Sorry no pics available. Imagine a 3rd world country booming in economics.

Yes, in the cities driving is assertive, but not aggressive in Europe in my experience. He who hesitates is lost. My comments were about high-speed road driving. In this regard, I seldomly have seen a European driving consistently with the US customs I mentioned.
