Triangular snowflake message when I turn on the car

I rather would have that it was only when the car was started. Mine is parked indoor, so often I've driven a small distance and then it chimes.
In the beginning, I often was startled and afraid that it would be another error message.

Hahaha, I'm the same way. I still jump when I hear it shortly after leaving the garage. It's like when we used to wear beepers and always jumped whenever the darn things went off.

That signal drives me crazy. Has anyone else noticed that the E60 likes to have a lot of dings and dongs for its owners.

That bloody ding is always going off, its when it reaches +3.0 Deg Celsius, then again at 1.0, then 0. Bit of a pain like, but i suppose its there for a reason, telling me its gonna be abit slippery on the roads, yet again... Good old british weather!
