Transmition fault

Transmition fault
So a month ago driving dowm M1 i lose dfive a 30mph. I get transmition fault drive slowly,
but i have no drive pull over car idling with no
Drive reverse park etc. Switch off car doesnt want to start but after 3mins its starts all normall like nothing happened. Today same thing this time i lose drive but it comes back in second or 3rd gear it wouldnt chznge up or down so i wouldnt know which gear im in. Again pull off switch off this time it starts straight away everything back to normal wuth no faults on computer. Im puzzled

Welcome to e60 transmissions
There are a few posts recently about fixing your problem
It's not a new problem but if you are even a little handy with a tool you can do it yourself
If you can pull the fault codes it will help diagnose the issues though
