I am also looking for a sport/mtech bumper. A while back I had someone run a red light and clip my bumper and i pocketed the check.. so I have been meaning to look into which ones fit the 545 compared to 550 or if there's a difference between the OEM and your cheaper options. Luckily my car is black and paint might not be necessary.

That is good food for thought in your experience with your mechanic.

Yeah my car is blk too. I'm looking for a M5 mtech type rear bumper. I have the mtech front bumper that I got from umnitz.com I got them to paint it but the paint was not a match or quality and the bumper doesn't look flush but it's close. I'm not getting my rear from umnitza though. right now people are bashing their bumper quality. Oh my paint was fading on my hood, trunk and roof so I had the wrapped and it looks great. Black paint fade fast living in Florida so I'm cool with the wrap. Oh where are you getting your rear from. I need side skirts too
