AchtungE60 : yes I do have the M54 engine, I visted a couple of mechanics they told me its the mechatronics, but when they did the computer check up they get no errors, I asked for a soleniod replacement but they told me that cannot be done only the entire mechatronics unit must be replaced, I asked for an update but they said it wont solve it and maybe make it worse
Well I'm not sure what to tell you. Solenoid replacement can be done. Otherwise the dealer will not sell those parts separately. And I've seen numerous people do it on forums.
An update will not solve physical issues.
In my opinion, most mechanics are "old school" and think that vehicle technology is still in the 90's. Most have no idea what is going on anymore and they have no desire to learn.
But to add to that, a software update will not make it worse unless they do not know how to update software, which seems to be the case based off of the answer they've provided you.

Thanks for helping, Im not sure what to do I can either update or replace soleniods or the entire mechatronics unit. But shouldnt it show on computer check up if the mechatronics was faulty?
No. These issues do not show up even with BMW's software. It may show some voltage inconsistencies in certain places etc. but you still "mechanically" need to know how to diagnose such as issue. ma ba3raf fee al ba7rayn bes fee al urdun wa falasteen mechanics are ghubee ktheer (when it comes to automotive electronics that is)

You will need to go to a bmw mechanic that have the tools to update Your car, when he plug your car to the diagnostic tool it will show if your vehicle needs an update.
When saying have tried reset are you talking about adaptive values. These can only be reset with INPA or DIS?I changed my fluid and did this reset and tranny shifts smooth now. This is not the pedal to the floor reset.
