I'm having - and a few others - the same problem on a manual (and a virtually new car). I think there is a good possibility this isn't related to the auto trans but rather the actual engine .
i have only 45k on my car.......low miles for an issue that i used to have in my 328i..that ended up being weak VANOS seals

Kinda feels like its caught trying to shift...then when its in DS it does the exact same thing at 60...I took it to the dealership and they said they fixed it and it still does it.
