Hey guys im new too this and finally decided to join to get help with my car, lately its been giving me alot of problems and i really dont want to get rid of it, to make long story short, the car has been acting weird for about a week already on a take off from a stop it would rev up and accelerate like as if i would of floored it hard and then it would drop back to driving normal, now after taking of from a start the Transmission Malfuncion came on and it bugs to take off even after accelerating hard, and yes its been leaking alot of oil, just havent spotted from were.

Has anyone else experienced these issues its a 2006 550i

Do a search in the DIY section. There is a thread that covers transmission issues and different fixes depending on the money you want to spend. I'm sure it will solve your issue.

When was your last trans fluid changed?

Ok thankz i will take a look, i did a lil research and as far as i got is that i need too add oil. I have never did changed the oil on it it has 125,xxx miles and i berly got it a year ago

Assuming that the fluid has never been changed, you will need to do more than just change the fluid. Also, replace the pan, the four sealing sleeve, the bridge seal, and the mechatronics sleeve.

oh ok thanx, im going to look around and see if i find a good mecanic because the dealership is gonna want to take an eye out from me 😂 for all the transmission needs too come out right?
