Overall you have 3 error codes, all have something to do with your mechatronic, all happened at 224,040km.

1) Mechatronic CAN communication error at startup
2) Power Module message is missing at startup
3) Mechatronic magnet/solenoid valve number 4 had multiple (15 times) dropouts.

My guess is you have to repair the magnet/solenoid valve number 4 in the mechatronic and the errors number 1 and 2 are just because of a weak battery (under 11V !) while testing (but check the mechatronic connector nethertheless).

Charge your battery (if it's older than 3 years, change it), clear the error codes, drive and then check again FIRST.

Number 3 could be the connector also, of course, so the electrical errors are gone.

Looks like your torque converter indeed is broken. You filled the AT correctly? Running engine, about 35°C max, then filling up until it comes out the hole?

Yes, drive with a constant speed and when your rpm is moving up and down your TC is broken. See?

Personally I would ask Freddy Rogatyn. I'm not related neither was I using his service yet (I changed my own atf), but I informed myself well who is the best E60 ZF transmission specialist in germany and as soon my tc will brake (I don't hope so) he is the one I will trust. I prefer him over "certified" ZF service points. I do hope he does understand english, though ...

I also checked ebay.de for "Drehmomentwandler ZF" 6HP19 or 26. There are plenty somewhat trustworthy refurbished ones available between 450€ and 600€. But Freddy Rogatyn (it's a one man show) would be my best bet.
