Does anyone know which wire to tap in the taillight assembly for brake lights? I have the clearance and turn signals but there does not seem to be anywhere to get the trigger wire for the brake lights.

What is everyone else using for wiring? BMW is no help and I see people on here with trailers...

The brake and parking light share the same the wire; they use PWM. I'll have to go out and look at the wiring on my trailer install next week when I'm back near the bimmer and also look at wds.

I noticed that the brake and the parking lights are on the same wire, I can't figure out how to trigger the brake lights from this wire through my trailer wiring module? Any ideas other than running another wire directly from the brake pedal?

You'll need a circuit that notices the difference between the PWM 'tail light' and the full intensity brake light. The TEB7AS works great if you need/want something off the shelf.
