Congratulations on the new car. Can you tell me how the handling differs between the 530d and the 545i - ie speed, and going around corners stuff. Obviously the new one will feel faster , but what were your first impressions?

My old car had the 18inch wheels and run flats on it whereas the new one has 19inch with Michelin PS2's so it grips a lot better and rides over bumps just as good if not better. Feels likes its got a bit more weight in the nose to me but I've not pushed it yet just plowed up and down the motorway.

Power and noise are great but I do miss the low down shove a bit.

Overall I'm very very pleased and would recommend it if you are doing fairly long motorway journeys as I got 32mpg this morning 4 less than I used to get in the 530d.
