Tried searching for the the answer to this one but couldn't find what I was looking for. On an 08, if I have tires replaced, does tpms need to be installed back in the same position? Meaning if the tpms came from the RR (rear right), does it need to go back on the RR? What will happen if it gets put on the RL? Are the sensors programmed for a specific location?
Thanks in advance.

It does not matter where they are installed. Just follow the directions to reset the sensors in I-drive menu and it will find the positions for you.
