Yes - M Tech kit all the way. I will take better pictures once the weather clears up and I can get the car relatively clean. It's supposed to et up to 65 degrees this weekend, so I can see a thorough hand wash and detail in my future!

Quick update with the smoked license plate cover. It's just a relatively cheap $11.99 polycarbonate plate cover from autoanything.com. The mounting screws I have are too short to work well with the cover (they are juuuuust catching the nuts in back), so it's off to AutoZone tomorrow to get some additional plate screws. I'll also paint those new screw heads black so they don't stick out like turds in a punch bowl.

The original OEM (temporary) mount with double-sided tape:

Here is the smoked cover with blacked out screws. This Rho-Plate is even more flimsy than I thought. I love the multi-position options this mount plate offers, but the plate material should be twice as thick as it is and the rotational fastener isn't at all as stable as it should be, meaning that over time the plate will fall to the vertical position. Still, it's performing it's intended job as expected. The question is, for how long. I maintain that it's $60 pretty well spent.

The weather went back to 39 degrees and sleet today, so no outside sun-shiny post wash pics for now.
