Is that $2-$3,000 based upon what the insurance company has said the car's value is/was?
Hope the additional steps identify the additional damage that will make the difference. I know you'd like to move on from this part of the accident.

I just spoke with the appraiser and he said that they need to be @ 70% of the value to total it, they are close but not there yet. He is going back out today and the dealer is removing a couple body panels so he can take pics to justify the repairs he has so far.
With what he told me he has and where he said he needs to be, he is only $2000-$3000 away.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. If my estimate would have been more accurate, I would be sitting in a brand new 535 and not one that has had $40K+ of parts/repairs. Again, I hope they total it for you.

You'd think if they're that close then why not just wash it out. Hell if I was you I'd even think about taking 2k less in the payout if they would total it out for you.

I used to manage a Chiropractic office in FL. From what I know you should go to see one as soon as you can. If you have good insurance you should be able to go see a chiropractor and massage a couple times a week. Then after a few months get a settlement from the other company. Go to one that has in house therapist if possible..

wow.......the cars pretty banged up...but the most important thing is that those inside are safe. the only thing that can harm someone in the back seat in this case is obviously the impact and the sudden jerk......i wouldnt bet on the glass doing damage cuz when my dad had an accident...his car flipped like 2-3 times and the glass was all over the place although he wasnt cut by it thank God.....anyway..hope u recover
