It was an awful rainy day here in Central New York, but I took delivery on my beautiful 545i, ill have pictures tomarrow, it's supposed to be somewhat sunny

I have one concern, I have the sport package and noticed my car came with the dunlops, and im worried after reading other posts on the forum for the past few months that I'm going to have issues, I talked to the dealer today when i picked it up and noticed it and they said they've seen a problem with that in a 530i, none so far in a 545i but I never really trust dealerships to much

Congrats on the new car and welcome to the "club."

As far as the Dunlops go, don't worry about it. The issue is simply one of excessive tread roar -- there's no safety or performance issue. You might think of it as a bonus. If you have excessive tread roar in about 7000 miles or so, tell the dealer at around 9000 miles and you'll most likely get 4 free tires. These tires aren't cheap so it's like getting an extra 9000 miles out of a set of the things (they normally won't last much more anyway...)

First congrats!

About the tires... either that or they've said to have "fixed" the tire roaring on newer dunlops so maybe you'll have trouble free tires...

Sometimes it's nice to have "trouble free tires" and sometimes it's nice to have "free trouble tires!"

Congrats. I wouldn't worry about the tires. I've got them on my 545i and after 3,000 miles I haven't noticed anything.
