northernmonkey, this is quite odd, because TMC is only carried on Classic FM in the UK.
So if Classic FM? is shown in the list, you should have TMC functions.? I am really not sure why other stations would appear in that list.

I just booked my car in for various reprogramming related issues (steering wheel no longer linked to memory, radio cutting out etc.) and I asked for TMC to be enabled on my car, which has Business Nav.
I was told by my dealer - Holland Park BMW - that they received an email bulletin dated yesterday from BMW that said they were withdrawing TMC from Business Nav owing to integration issues, and would work on reintroducing it in late 2004, early 2005. The plot thickens...
As it happens, I have had to get the car back from them anyway, without any work being done, as they didn't tell me when I booked that they needed the car for 3 days, as there were 4 cars in front of mine for reprogramming, and they only have one machine.
So, my question is, for those "lucky" people who have managed to get TMC enabled on Business Nav, has it all gone wrong and is Nav crashing left, right and centre, or is everything sweetness and light?
Welcome to the future of firmware-dependent cars.

i think BMW GB must have had more calls this week about TMC on BusNav than ever before....good work guys keep the pressure on them and this will get fixed soon.
all we need now is for Karm to come back and post some pics of his TMC working on an 03 UK car with BusNav and let us know his DVD disc version and we will have some solid evidence to go back to the dealers with and prove that it DOES work.

Just booked mine in for software upgrade and tmc activation later this month. Dealer has had e mail response from BMW UK today advising that tmc can be activated on my sept 03 530dA with busnav but recommends purchase of 2004-2 DVD, the earlier DVDs will work with tmc but latest DVD will work better with latest software. ..... Don't think I will buy a new DVD just yet though.
