TMC not working after IPOD install?

Had Ipod adpater installed a couple of weeks ago and have just noticed that TMC is no longer working. 
TMC logo shows and setting remains the same but it's not updating. Parked next to a friend with another E61 and he's picking up the messages so assume it's something to do with the code being changed.
Anyone else experienced this?
