Just checked the manual.. I ordered pro nav but it only mentiones nav so I think it is the same for both.

The manual states nothing about tmc but it does say:

You can check trafficinformation. It should be next to bordinfo (German) so I think onboard information.

I've got no pic of it , but on loaners I've driven I've had bus nav AND TMC, but this is in Germany... SO maybe UK is different...?!

i was also told no TMC with BusNav so will be interested to know if you find out different.....I certainly have not noticed it active in my car, though to be fair i only had a brief look at that section of the manual.

it says that TMC is available on bus nav on the back of the dvd cover and it says it aswell on page 136-137 in the manual.
also check http://www.itisholdings.com/bmw_tmc.asp they are the providers of TMC. it says that TMC os available on any new BMW purchased with navigation. It says NAVIGATION which should include both pro and bus. I have printed that out and i think i have a good case to take to the dealer tomorow to demand a refund.

last thing there is an option called TRAFFIC INFORMATION in the navigation section of the idrive but that says PRESENTLY NO RECEPTION.

sounds like you've got some good evidence then....i'll be waiting for "good news" from your trip to the dealer.

got to admit be nice to have TMC active....though i suspect the novelty would wear off and i soon switch it off, but hey if its in the book, we want it to work !!

Looks like one picture that you don't have in your arsenal.
