I drove 5% for a year, its not bad you get used to it. Actually I think my front windows may have been 20% but it was tinted on top of the previous tint so it was even darker.
heres a pic of the tint in previous car.

I've got 5% on my back windows, and yes, you do get used to is - my fronts are 35%.

What about race riots, floods, mudslides, earthquakes, forest fires, or government IOU's?

I lived in San Jose for about two years and really liked it. The housing prices were ridiculous in 1997, they are out of control now. The California weather is hard to beat, and I think about that a lot from June-September when it is 80% RH & 100F+ outside here in Houston.

Yeah in NJ/NY the summer has been incredibily cooler than previous years..
I think the highest temp was 85 so far and in the evenings the avg. temp is like 65 degrees.
