Tire size for 550i

hi guys... my 550i came with the 225 width tires both front and back. i just wanted to ask which size looks nice on it.... ty in advance.

225 front and back??.......Wow........Small tyres!

I think my old E36 325i had wider tyres than that!

You sure? I thought even a 550 without sport pkg came with a 245/45/18 tire. I could be mistaken though as its rare to see a 550 without a sport package these days.

OEM staggered set-up is F - 245/19, R 275/19. You can probably still run these widths if 18's also. Post pics when you get them.

well i live in Pakistan and i didnt get the sports package cuz even without it the price with other options was like 200000 US$ because of tax. and for the pakistani market 225 come as stock....

Something is not right with the sizes you have!!! did you buy it from the dealership???

here are the official sizes for the 550i:

18":

275/35/18 rears and 245/40/18 fronts

and 19" with sport package:

275/30/19 rears and 245/35/19 fronts
