My 550I arrived with Continental ContiSportContact 2 245/35R19 front and 275/30R19 back. This is my first experience with this brand and I like it so far. My previous BMW?s had the power pilot which I loved.

Why isn't the Michelin PS2 so popular anymore?

I always thought it would be THE E60 forum's tire
I too find this interesting. My guess is the high price, which is the only real neagtive on the Michelin PS2. Some may say treadlife is a bit short too.

I installed the PS2 on my 911TT this spring. They were expenisve, but worth every penny. I fell in love with the Michelin PS2 so much, I just replaced my Dunlop RFs with PS2s on my e60.

I realy did not want to spend the money on these tires for my daily driver. But the more I thought of why I drive an e60, along with knowing how well the Michelin PS2 perform on my Pcar, ther was no way I was going to put a cheap tire on my e60.

They are expesive, but tire is not a place to cut costs.
