My Ride: 2004 530i 6M
Thumbs up

My 225 50 17s seem rather narrow... What wider tire size would look good with my stock 17s? Maybe 255 45 17 ???
Pictures of your ride with fatter tires would be sweet.
Thanks
Greg

235/45/17 would fit ok, but I still wouldn't recommend. If you want wider rubber, get bigger/wider wheels, either 18's or 19's.

I'm looking to do something similar. But i don't want to hamper my ride comfort so keeping the same profile would be the best option.
Would 235/50R17 fit without rubbing the sidewalls when the car is fully loaded.

It should not rub at all.....tires are still relatively narrow and actually have a slightly smaller radius, for rolling characteristics and speedo purposes.
