You can trust them to mount correctly, at least at the store that I went to. They had what appeared to be very high end gear that had rubber covers on the business ends to protect the wheels. I watched them replace my Bridgestone runflats with PS2's and the tech was very careful and did a great job. The balance is perfect at all speeds and the weights are invisible. As a plus, they fill with nitrogen instead of air and it makes a huge difference in how frequently you need to top off the pressure. I would not hesitate to go back.
Wow thats impressive for Costco.
I've found that costco is usually more expensive than some place like the tirerack. If you don't wish to bother with shipping, you could try your local America's tire and have them price match the tirerack. That way, mounting and install shouldn't cost much, but you would have to pay for tax.

I've had good and bad experiences with Costco, but, as with any big box retailer, you have to be specific and know about the product, because many times, they have no idea....yes, good deal on tires at Costco, though, and some of their shops have very nice facilities. My advice is to try and catch them when they aren't too busy, only bad experience I've had with them was a day they were swamped, which can happen anywhere. They will rotate/check balance on all 4 wheels/tires every 5000 miles, though, and the nitrogen is a big plus.

I'm sure many of you will just laugh at me and say "duh" to this..
.. but compared to Les Schwab.. COSTCO is great!! Had my last two sets from costco and everytime i would go-in for anything or for new tires, they were VERY careful not to scratch the rims, made sure everything was lined-up perfectly and that i was totally satisfied. They're all trained by Michelin (true fact). They may not know about every tire they sell... but who knows what the hell he's selling in ANY industry these day!? LOL Go to your local ford dealership and ask the salesman what size engine is under the hood of ANY car he's selling - he'll give you a nice blank stare (good laughs for a saturday activity
)
Anyway, went to Les Schwab this last time around (don't ask).. But bad experience! Horrible tires, promised the world and delivered a dirt-clod. They act like they KNOW that Toyo's are 'THE BEST' (which is a total junior high school argument to start with with any product) and, yet, they didn't even know WHY they were saying they were the best NOR did they know what the model of ANY competitive brand's tire was.
...and - TO TOP IT ALL OFF - they scratch the piss out of my rims with the lug air gun. VERY CARELESS!
(Big surprise with a slut chain like Schwab obviously)
To get back to my Humble opinion
Costco is worth it. I'm not even an avid Costco shopper... and I still have been REPEATEDLY very impressed with their service, work, AND PRICE.
-Cheers.

I called and explained to the section manager that there may have been a mis-understanding when I ordered these Tires.
The manager was very polite and understanding and ordered the replacement Tires for me immediately. He explained that
I may continue driving until the order arrives. I am also not paying the difference!
Thanks for the input so far.

Looks like Michelin PS2 for size 285 /30R19 is highly demanded or very popular, Costco order is delayed until mid August. The branch manager constantly updates me and apologizes for the delay. I continue driving their Tire as previously approved.

Dear judahzlion,
The AS rears are not what you ordered!
AS tyre will not last as long as the the summer PS2's.
I would say that the firm did rip you off and is not worthy any customers.
Report them, after you have got what you paid for!

Do your ps2's actually say ps2 on the sidewalls? Mine say Pilot Sport. I am 99.9% sure they are ps2's based on the tread pattern.
Check with discount tire , and they match any competitor pricing.
I would go back to Costo and get the exact tires you ordered, there is a big difference in those two codes. After having a bad experience with Sams Club, not on my E60 thank God, I will no longer go to a warehouse to purchase tires. I don't trust the products they sell or the staff that installs them in those places. I'll save money on something that does not have my life in the balance, thank you very much.
