Hey guys,
I'm very close to ordering new wheels and tires, but I'm not sure if I should have them come balanced, etc. ahead of time. I have the tire pressure system w/ rubber stems. I do not want any error messages and think I should get them sent and have someone remove and place the sensors for me, etc. Also, why did BMW give me a spare tire if I had runflats??? I think I heard before they didn't provide a spare if your car was equipped with RF. Maybe it's the model year or they had extra spares - lol.
As far as tires I'm going with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo (K110) Tires. I bought some Hanhook Ventus for my Infiniti FX35 and loved them!!! I hope to get some Breyton Race GTS (Silver) wheels. I would hope if I order these a local tire shop could switch my sensor into the new setup fairly cheap.

Okay, just called TireDirect to get an idea about the sensors, cost, etc.
The guy said my model year the sensor goes off the ABS system that somehow detects if there is a tire defect. Therefore, I just need to slap on the new tires and I'm done. I would have to reset the monitor once the new tires are on. Does that sound right to you guys????
