By the way, that's an incorrect wheel/tire size combination you have for the 2006 530i. With 19" wheels the sizes should be 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear. Your tires are too tall.

Look in your manual for all the recommended pressures for different tire/wheel combinations and loads. It's all there. It's also on the sticker on the driver's door edge. You'll find your answer 1,000 times faster than posting on a forum.

I have the same size on my 535d and I'm also wondering about the correct pressure, we will need to probably have look on 6 models what they recommendation is and than compare this with our weight, does anyone has the information?

A little off-topic, but can you guys post some pics of your cars with 40/35? I'd like to see how it looks so I can consider using it on mine. I particularly like the new F10 because it uses more "balloon-ish" tires. Hell, even 17's looks good on F10!

Your speedo will read slow, At when it reads 70mph you will actually be travelling at around 73 - 74.mph, watch out for those speed cops

So with those tires, your speedo will actually show actual speed correctly +/-.

Inflation pressures (at least in the USA) are noted on a sticker affixed to the driver-side door frame. Generally it is OK [as many spirited drivers prefer] to run a couple of PSI above the recommended tire pressure BUT NEVER exceeding the MAX PSI stamped on the tire sidewall.
