Tire fitment
Hi all
I've got a 530i with standard suspension
And I go a set of oem 166 wheel and I love them. The wheels however are all front wheels 8.5 all around. I'm currently running 245 35 19 front and 255 35 19 rear...
I just got the rears wide because I liked the look of it.
My question is will 245 40 19 fit?
I know it will fit the front but I don't know about the rear.
I live in NYC AKA Pothole City and I would like the added comfort of the higher profile.
Let me know your input
Thanks guys

Hey mate,
Standard 530i on those wheels with those tyres already running sounds fine.
Not sure if your problem with the 245 40 19 would actually be the front instead of the back.
I know people run at least 275 30 19s on the back so you shouldn't have a problem there.
Unless you have m5 guards on the front you may be under a bit of a squeeze with a 40 profile.
I use this a bit and its usually ok

Good luck and you aint seen potholes to you seen Australia.
