Tinted my 535 yesterday

I've had my car for almost a month now and have done my first mod.. if you can call it that. I had my windows tinted here in Northern Virginia. I didn't go very dark at all.. just 50% all the way around, which is the VA legal limit for the front windows. I wanted to keep the tinting consistent all the way around. With the factor windows already being tempered a bit, it looks a bit darker than 50. However, my main motivator for tinting the windows was heat rejection. My car is white my interior is black and boy does it bake.
I did my research for a while and found that the ceramic films truly do have a higher level of heat rejection than the carbon and especially the metallic. The only downside is it costs a bit more but I think it's worth it. The shop here uses the Insulatir from Johnson Window Films. It's only been on a day but the car was already noticeably cooler when I got in it this morning. A short term downside to the ceramic is that it takes a while to dry out. You'll have a major amount of bubbles and noticeable items in your windows for up to 30 days but in warm weather shouldn't really go over 2 weeks I am told. After that you're not supposed to be able to see a thing. I'm already dying for this two weeks to be up.
If anyone is interested I'll post pictures up later. Curious anyone else have good experiences with ceramic tint so far?

Llmar ceramic tints PERFORMS!! I cruise on hot socal days with my AC settings at 74 - 78 .F
Dont remember they took that long to dry....2 to 3 days, installed in autumn.
I also have ceramics on da windshield, that sloping glass lets in the most SUN and it's in ya face!

My Ride: Car
50% here also. One of the things I truly dislike about driving in my wife's car is that she has no tint. Really makes a difference with the sun, even at 50%.

that's just spooky. I thought 35% was light. I have 20% that was on my car when I got it on all windows, I'm going to add another 20% to the rear to get it darker. I can't find less than 35% around here anywhere or I might consider putting 50% on my front window.
