Did you check the price differential for the fully loaded 550 and the M5? With every option, the 550 starts to get pretty close to the M. For a little more money (realtively speaking, you could have the ultimate ultimate driving machine.

For me, as much as I love the M5 and SMG, I figured I'd enjoy the toys more on a daily basis, on trips, etc. so I'm going to stick to the 550i for now. Hey, you never know, maybe in 3 years I'll take the plunge and go for an M5 with all the toys!!
