Ok funny story. Finish golf today and a black M5 is in the parking lot. I walk over and start checking out the rims (166s) to get a feel for them. What's odd about them up close is they actually look like 20 inch rims. Anyway, old guy walks up right when I am by his car. Told him my story. Shakes his head and says "why would you put M5 rims on a 535i". Ugh. I am making my decision this week. My color is brilliant silver. Would one look better than the other? I'm really torn.

well, be careful buying 166's - if they come with stock M5 front tires you will have to replace them (255/35/19 will rub on a non-M). The 172's are nice looking wheels, just look at my sig pic

Tire sizes per TireRack website (correct?):
Front: 245/35ZR19
Rear: 275/30ZR19 <---- no rubbing right?
What brand is decent? I was thinking about the Continential ExtremeContact DWs. Any feedback?
