Is there a way to make the 545i sound like an M3?

Is there some sort of exhaust mod that would make the V8 sound less like a V8 and more like an M3? I know there are exhaust systems that would improve the sound of the V8 and make it more sporty, but is there a way to make that typical V8 sound turn into a more M3-ish sound (I6)?

1) What sound?

2) No six sounds as good as a V8, IMO.

Are you looking for that stock raspy sound? Don't think you can get that, but with a CAI and a nice exhaust you can sound like a modded M3, just a bit more aggressive.

I don't know the exact difference, but the 6series sounds more agressive, even though it uses the same engine.
Maybe you can find out what exhaust the 6series uses... That should work on the 5series too... Not like the M3 though, but I think it's even better than the M3!

It's ironic that your are seeking the infamous rasp that so many M3 owners strive to eliminate from their cars.......

I dont there's theres anyway the 5er will sound like the m3... but you could give it a more aggressive tone with the plethora of exhaust tuners who are working on stuff for the 5er.....
