i have seen many 20" replicas and some silly over priced 20" 'genuine' on ebay but cant help thinking did they even come in 20"? i can fine no one selling them as genuine wheels in this size, and can not find them in sales brocure on bmw web site or on real oem in 20"
how can you tell they are real and is it better to pay more for real or will i never know the difference?

Jas is correct - Original 172M Spiders are 19in only.
be careful on Ebay, i just sold my 18in MV2's from my sport via Gumtree - the guy that bought them said he was scammed on Ebay because when he went to collect his wheels that he bid on there was no-one there, when he phoned the guy, they said that he had already collected them! and they said they have cctv footage of him checking the wheels for 20mins etc etc!!
can you beleive it? so he's in talks with ebay and paypal to get his money back.
If you find a set on Ebay, check the BMW part numbers on the inside of the wheel, remember the rears are wider and if they are genuine they wont be that cheap either.
good luck.
