When at 3 bars, my heated seat gets pretty hot. I used the maximum 3 bars to warm it up then turn it down to 1 bar. If there is a service bulletin for this, I will take it in for safety reason.

I do the same thing but mine never get unbearably hot so I figure they are working perfectly. Mind you - maybe it depends what one is or is not wearing.

There is a fix out for this situation. Have your dealer/tech look for the Roundtable slides that were posted around November 17th, I believe.

My problem is less than that (literally). My seat back is nice and warm (not too hot) but my seat bottom does not seem to warm. I think I've got to check into this with the dealer, since it seems consistently off on the bottom.

Maybe it's just a wiring harness.....

Roost, I've played with the seat heater settings and in no case does it seem to make any difference. That's why if seems to be disconnected somehow... :'(

Don't know about service bulletin but mine lit my a-$ up.? Burned a hole in the leather and my pants. Dealer had to replace the seat cover and the heating element. Service tech stated this was not the first one they have seen.
