I saw a few complains about seat heater burning the seat covers on RF board. I'm kind of concerned, because the seat heater does get very warm. Is there a service bulletin on TIS for this problem? Thanks.

Yes, I know that board is a joke. Shouldn't you be sleeping by now?

My wife likes to leave hers on high all the time and the other day I swear I smelled the seat as if it got too hot. I have heard of people having problems. I know I can't leave mine on high but for about 3 minutes to get it warmed up and then I lower the setting.

That's funny because my seats don't get that hot, or not as hot as other cars I have owned with heated seats.

I set mine to only the upper back , and turn it up to 3 , feels good on my old back, but never gets to hot and I use the max setting.

Did someone say they smelled there wifes seat...OH MY.

Don't know about service bulletin but mine lit my a-$ up. Burned a hole in the leather and my pants. Dealer had to replace the seat cover and the heating element. Service tech stated this was not the first one they have seen.
