When I think of MB drivers, I think of people in their 40-50's

I dumped my GS430 for a BMW 530i years ago. The GS may have had more power, but the driving feel was non-existent. I may as well have been driving my couch. I only kept the GS for 6 months before I traded it on the BMW. Now I have the 550i and will never stray from BMW again!

MB? Meh! Only for old men.........

BMW wins over MB, without exception. I think of my father when I see an E class.

Lexus, yes more comfortable of a ride but the drive doesn't compare to the Ultimate Driving Machine. W00T!!

Seriously. How can you make a ridiculous statement like that? I have had a couple of BMWs, an Audi, and now a MB. All great cars in very different ways. To think that every BMW rules over any MB is simply a stupid statement.

I realize that. I frequent this board and a couple of other boards.
I call out any idiot that makes ridiculous comments like that regardless of the board or the car.

Hey man. People have different opinions. I see that you've owned various European cars and so have I. MB makes great cars and I respect that. However, I would prefer BMWs and obviously you have a different opinion. That's fine, but that doesn't justify you to call me an idiot for a comment that I posted. I hope you enjoy your E55 - those are nice cars.

Sorry man. You are not an idiot I am sure, but the comment that you made "BMW wins over MB, without exception" is pretty silly. As you noticed, I have had a handful of great cars and the majority have been BMW. I am sure I will own a BMW again, but I like to experience all of the great options from other car manufacturers.

Did that help at all?
I am not sure if it still true. I had a 2006 Lexus IS-350 just before I bought my BMW earlier this year. This Lexus has been the worst car I have had in term of issues and recalls. Here is the list:

1. Recall for seat belt.
2. Recall for fuel lines.
3. Rear shock absorber failure.
4. Recall to replace the pignon rack.
5. Recalled pignon rack failure.
6. Recall for galiper brakes rust problem.
7. Cam shaft replaced under a service bulletin.
8. Recall for valve spring that could fail.
9. Famous recall for the sudden acceleration.
10 Recall for brake fluid possible link.

That is a lot of problem in 4 years!

Ben
