Thumbs down

So today I was driving at a regular speed and MODERATELY (as the I drive advises). I came to a round about and after that the steering wheel was stuck ı couldn't move it. I hit the brakes but BOOM ı'm stuck in a fence at the sidewalk. I don't know ho much damge does the car have. Any suggestions. BTW I have a faulty LWS or that steering angle thing which was going to be changed tomorrow under regular circumstances. What are your suggestion? Dealer told me at least 10000$. I can drive it. BUT THE THING IS IT IS NOT MY FAULT THE STEERING WHEEL GOT STUCK. How can I have BMW pay the bills what should I do do???? PLZZZ HELP ME

Yeah there was a guy in the UK last month whose BMW something or other kept accelerating (or stuck at 125 or something).

Too many sensors and processors?

Edit: stuck accelerator (gas) pedal

Maybe you can get BMW to dump the recent events and check the behaviour of your steering?

Normal, schmormal.

All recent events (which can supply data) are recorded and can be dumped (extracted) by BMW.

If you want a chance to get BMW to "pay", get them to take the data sooner rather than later. Otherwise you'll just talk yourself out of any opportunity that may otherwise have been there.

Sorry about your misfortune. However, unless you are able to prove the steering wheel being stuck, there is a Slim to None chance BMW will pay for the repairs.

Did your dealer advise you it was OK to drive your car even though you had steering angle sensor fault?

Sorry to see the damage by the way
