TCU replaced, is this covered under warranty?
So a few of my sensors have been popping up on my HUD lately which are: passenger seat belt sensor, high battery drain, and sos malfunction. So i decide to bring it into BMW and have them take a look. Keep in mind I'm driving a 2005 545 which was purchased 6 months ago and is a CPO. These sensors started going off 1 at a time within the last month or 2. But back to the story, I bring it in and the tech looks at and decides its the TCU, and it needs to be replaced and reprogrammed. I said fine with the assumption it would be covered.
They call me back saying the total for the work order was $1419.00 CAD which brings me to my question, is the TCU covered since the car is a CPO and has not been modded in any way.
Second question, my sunroof rattles when the roof is closed but the sunshade is open, is that also covered under warranty?

If you were in BMW of North America's market, the TCU would not be covered.
