Ok, so this past week i took the car in to be serviced, and they updated it with 19.2. Well, i think that the car is a lot more responsive and acceleration is a lot better. But, after the update- i get an error message that says that data transmission failed. I tried to push the SOS button, and all that i got was my lattitude on the iDrive. Also, the bars at the bottom by the time on the screen are gone, and my portable motorola V60 doesn't work in the car either. Is it possible that the TCU was fried, or was it just shut off after the update?

I can't really help with your problems, but is you car a 545i? I like the words "more responsive" and "acceleration is a lot better." Anyone notice similar things in a 545i having upped to 19.02? I might sacrafice some things for these improvements on the "Mind Candy" 545i. I know Realtyman upped to 19.02 and has had problems with BT, etc. He didn't mention performance improvements. I might mention that I am confident that nothing was fried.

Does your car fit into this category?
