taking a car in for inspection, what should mechanic look for?

My Ride: 2006 BMW 550i
i'm looking at getting and 05 545i that is out of warranty. what things do bmw dealers usually check for their inspection service?
what should i make sure they check out?

rust, joints, shocks, body panels, orange peel, bondo work, belts, fluids, rotors, brakes, brake lines, steering pump, OBC, electrical etc etc
