Just got my car back from the dealership and am elated to report that the new version of s/w for my navigation now says, "Take the next ROAD on the right"...

Happily suprised that this fix was implemented. Do not know what version of s/w I have though because the invoice doesn't say.

Anybody else notice this change?

Stu

In Chicago and its suburbs streets are referred to as "roads" with Nav and 13.2. I personally prefer "take the next on the right" to "take the next road on the right" in an urban setting.. It does however say "take the next exit on the right".

Same here. With 13.23 she now says "ROAD". I'm still trying to come up with an appropriate name for the Nav Lady.

I think the E39's version worked out just fine -- it said "Take the next TURN on the right." To me, that makes the most sense. Why change it?

She may sound like a Heidi, but she looks like a Helga to me!
