I have an 05 530i and for some reason when I park and turn the car off one of the tailights stays on. Last night it was the right today is the left and its just 1 light. Has anyone exerienced this? Its going to drain my battery! Your help is appreciated once again.

Check that your turn signal lever is centered and turn signals are not activated when you turn off the car. Otherwise one side lamps will remain lit. It's a "safety" feature to use when parking on unlit roads/streets.

If not, it could be a fault in the light module.

Well I checked to make sure the blinker wasnt on and it was not. My battery completely died and its currently charging. Hopefully the dealer can take a look at it.
