Fields BMW in Northfield.

Version 12 software fixes the following per BMWTIS:

-Poor reception in AM on cars with M-ASK
-CD player doesn't remember last position
-AFS causes battery draw
-Various telegram errors in satellites
Thanks for the Info. I've got my dealer on it now.

I go to Knauz, I was just in for my radio problems and he said that he would call as soon as Ver. 12 gets downloaded to his computer.

Bill Jacobs BMW in Naperville. I bought it there and have had it serviced there, but I may switch to Laurel BMW in Westmont if Jacobs doesn't get my problems resolved soon. I live much closer to Laurel but Jacobs was recommended by a friend. How has your experience been at Fields? That would be a ways for me to travel for service, but what the hell, I've got the absolute best car to travel in!

I used to use Laurel before they sold to AutoNation as I used to live right behind the main owner of Laurel motors. Once the sale went through service went down.

Since I live in the city now and needed to find a place closer. I friend of mine uses Fields and loves it. So I thought I would give it a try. Monday through Thursday their service hours are 7:30Am to Midnight. It is great. I have only been there at night as it is easier. My Master Tech that works that shift is the best and is more than through with my cars and others.

Highly recommend this service dealer.
